I wonder if the Rams should conceed the season. The Rams have a long shot at the playoffs. The only way the Rams could win the division would be if the Rams win all their games while the Seahawks loose all their's. They will have to rely on help as well as to win a wild card. They have no control over their future. So, why not just take a look at Fitzpatrick. If it doesn't look like Fitzpatrick could make, then put Jamie back in or Bulger.
The Giants took a shot with Eli Manning, and he panned out this year. I'm not comparing Fitzpatrick to Eli. But that, the Giants took a shot and it paid off.

Martin and Pace Leave Houston Game
Rams down to their third string quarterback. Jamie left the with a head injury to be replaced by Fitzpatrick. This would be the Fitzpatrick first pro start.
Fitzpatrick look confident.

The Rams Beat Houston in Overtime
The Rams Win in Overtime
"I knew there was no way we were going to lose that game," Fitzpatrick said. "You sort of get that feeling out there, of invincibility, with the way the offense was playing late and the way the defense really stepped up."
Rookie Fitzpatrick replaced Jamie Martin who left the game with a head injury.
"I felt sick out there," said Texans center Steve McKinney. "I was so disgusted I wanted to throw up. We were squandering some opportunities and sure enough it came back to bite us. It's really hard to lose a game when you're up 10 points with 30 seconds to go -- but we did."

The Rams Lose Another Game
What should have been a win turned out to be loss for the Rams. The Cardinals led by Warner soundly beat the Rams.
This loss dims their playoff hopes. They fall three games back behind the Seahawks who won by a field gaol over the 49'rs. The wild card does not not look so good.

Rams Loose to Seattle
Could Martz be disobeying his doctors
SEATTLE (AP) -- It was as if dice-rolling coach Mike Martz was calling plays from his St. Louis-area home Sunday.
The Rams, actually under the direction of assistant head coach Joe Vitt while Martz recovers from a heart virus, were lining up for a field goal in the second quarter to add to a 3-0 lead against first-place Seattle. A third straight win and an improbable restart of the NFC West race was in sight.
But instead of settling for the 25-yard kick, Vitt morphed into Martz, providing the turning point in the Seahawks' 31-16 victory.
He had holder Dane Looker flip the ball to kicker Jeff Wilkins, who was about to throw to wide-open Cameron Cleeland at the 5. But Seattle cornerback Marcus Trufant charged the kicker. Wilkins aborted the pass and ran feebly into a turnover on downs. One wonders if Martz called this one.

Seven Games Left and the Cheap Talk Comes Out
However, you’re going to begin to make yourselves look very, very stupid if you don’t wake the hell up and realize that these are NOT THE SAME OLD SEAHAWKS.
This team can win in dominant fashion (ask the Houston Texans ), but more often than not, it’s the close ones – the nailbiters – the “winning ugly” that sets this Seahawks team apart from others. With or without key starters…with or without coaches. In the face of adversity that would have crushed previous Seahawks teams – it simply does not matter. We will find a way to win – as a team commitment.
During Passover Seders, people of Jewish faith ask themselves, “Why is this night different from all other nights?”
For Seahawks fans of any faith, the answer is simple:
This is the night the Seattle Seahawks introduced themselves to the NFL’s elite plane – without question or qualification.
Wake up, America.
You have been warned.
Best regards,Your Seattle Seahawks.
We still seven games left and the Seahawks warn the league and America.
The Western Division has not been decided yet.
They had a soft begining schedule, but the end part of the schedule remains the toughest. With the victory over the Rams, does not mean the Western Division. It only means a shot. The Seahawks still have to play the Giants, Eagles, and Colts. They have two games against the Forty-Niners who could be spoilers. They could hand the over confident Seahawks an upset. The only two teams that they beat in their division would be the hapless Cardinals and the fickle Rams. They also have a game against the Packers who won yesterday and may want to settle an old score. Don't forget the Panthers who share the same record 7-2. The season does not end until 12/31, and if they do win the division they still have the playoffs. If they make it to Super Bowl then they can trash talk all they want.

Rams verse Seattle
The Rams have chance to improve their playoff chance with a win over the Seahawks. Bulger should be back, as Holt and Bruce. Jackson has been running the ball well with 179 yards. Vitt seems to have the motivated.
The Seahawks are favored by seven points.

Bulger to Return for the Seahawks
Bulger said he would be back after the bye week in for an important game against the Seahawks, Western Division leaders. He also hopes that Bruce, Little, and Holt should also be back for the game.
I'll take this as good news. If the Rams can win this one against the Seahawks, they would be one game behind the Seahawks. If the Seahawks loose next week and the Rams beat the Seahawks, both teams would be tied. Not a bad place to be for the second part of the season. The Rams can only afford one loss during the rest of the games to remain in the playoff hunt.

Another coach with heart problems
Coah Vitt had angigoplasy yesterday. I wish him well. But two coaches with heart problems, this says a lot about the Rams
Rams 24 Jags 21
The rams improved their record t0 4-4 with this victory. Right now they remmain 1 game behind the Seahawks in the west. The Seahawks have a bye this week. Jackson did well with 179 yards rushing, but Jamie had four interceptions.
The 179 yards rushing would be a positive side since the Rams pass a lot.
Next week they have a bye.
